GCM Delivered: Order Window Opens
Friday, May 22, 2020, 8:00am
GCM Delivered opens for new orders at 8 am on Friday, May 22 for delivery on Wednesday, May 27.
While our farmers markets are temporarily closed in compliance with state and local shelter in place orders, the Green City Market team has been hard at work with our vendors and WhatsGood to launch Green City Market Delivered, powered by WhatsGood!
You can now get the farmers market delivered to your doorstep and order fresh, seasonal produce, meats, eggs, bread, baked goods, soups, jams, pickles, juices and more from 25+ local, sustainable vendors from Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
- Delivery days are Wednesdays and Saturdays; the GCM marketplace will open for orders on WhatsGood at 8 am on Tuesdays for delivery on the following Saturday and 8 am on Friday for delivery on the following Wednesday. After ordering opens at 8 am on Tuesdays and Fridays, the GCM marketplace will remain open until we reach capacity.
- When we reach capacity for orders on GCM Delivered, this does not mean that our farmers have sold out of product! While the Green City Market team is hard at work to grow the number of home deliveries we can make in a given week, our farmers still have plenty of food for you — and you can still source local and get food delivered to your home by ordering direct from our farmers. We have 30 local vendors with delivery and convenient pick-up options all over the Chicago area, and we highly recomend placing orders directly with our farmers if you happen to miss the order window for GCM Delivered or if you live outside of our current delivery radius.
