Introducing GCM's new vendors!

While many local farms and food businesses have been attending the Green City Market for years (some have been with us since our start in 1998!) we have added several new faces to the mix for the upcoming season. We are excited to introduce you to the five new farmers joining the GCM family this May.

J2K CAPRAIO - Wednesdays GCM Lincoln Park

"It is our goal to support and bring awareness to our community by offering quality seasonal products, supporting our neighbors, sharing our experience, educating our customers, and promoting our industry. "

Finn's Ranch - Wednesdays GCM Lincoln Park

"Our original goal was to provide a healthy food choice for our family. We have enjoyed it so much we thought we should take it to the next level so we could provide for more of our family and friends."

Midnight Sun Farm - Saturdays GCM Lincoln Park

"We use organic growing practices because we can produce large yields of high-quality produce without the use of synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers. As farmers, we have a unique capacity to affect the ecological health of the land we live on and work, and we take our responsibility very seriously."

Olden Produce - Wednesdays GCM Lincoln Park

"We are dedicated to a food system model that is not just environmentally sustainable, but economically sustainable. To us this means raising the crops that grow best on our soil type, micro-climate and are best suited to the scale of our farm's infrastructure. We are passionate about making high quality food available locally and regionally."

Wholesome Harvest - Saturdays GCM Lincoln Park

"If it grows slower and tastes better, that's probably what we are raising on our farm. Each year we enthusiastically strive to improve upon our farm methods and practices as well as dig deeper into the sustainability and health benefits of our production model."
