Brendan is the Strategy & Marketing Lead at Nature's Fynd, an venture-backed food company creating sustainable protein based on a fungi discovered in Yellowstone National Park. As an early employee at the company, Brendan led projects building the brand, setting product strategy, designing packaging, managing product, and executing the go-to-market launch. Most recently, Brendan led the direct-to-consumer limited release launch of their first products in market. Before joining Nature's Fynd, Brendan was a management consultant at Bain & Co.
After moving to Chicago from San Francisco two years ago, Brendan found a fast family in the community of Green City Market. After getting to know the market through volunteering, he joined the Associate Board to dedicate more time and energy to supporting this beautiful, local, sustainable food system.
Brendan practices Ashtanga Yoga, rock climbs, and finds any excuse to be outside. He also loves cooking and supporting his favorite local restaurants and food shops. If you run into him at the market, ask him about his favorite apples and he'll talk your ear off.
