Bio
Ashley is a content strategist with expertise in pairing editorial storytelling with operational rigor. She currently serves on the Global Communications team at Cisco. In this role, she drives content strategy across owned channels for priority narratives in networking, security, and AI.
As a former journalist with bylines in national magazines, she is fascinated by drawing connections and deeply curious about the world around her. This led to her passion for locally sourced food and the stories behind it.
She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Ashley was raised in Palm Beach, Florida and has lived in Chicago for nearly a decade. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, photography, and ceramics. One of her favorite place places in the city is the Green City Market, which she attends weekly.
