Ideally situated 45 minutes south of Chicago, just minutes outside of Kankakee, Illinois, Emily Bult and Laura Petitgoue dreamed up the idea of starting a lavender farm. August 2015, the dream began to develop, and with much research, trial and error, Green Eyed Lady Lavender Farm was formed.
Their farm is Certified Naturally Grown. They do not use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or GMOs. Lavender is an extraordinary plant with a captivating scent and a multitude of uses. On their farm, there are more than ten varieties of lavender plants. After every harvest, they turn their lavender into products to sell at farmers markets, local shops, and online.
