Come to the Table: Simplify

Join Green City Market and Angelic Organics Learning Center for our annual Come to the Table Dinner series for a community dinner and discussion centering on how to simplify shopping, cooking, and eating this year. We’ll talk about how to un-complicate what it means to cook well for yourself and your family and how to gain the confidence to cook on the fly or with what’s on hand and in season. You’ll leave with concrete tools helping you to avoid meal prep monotony, gravitate towards simple, local ingredients, and spark joy and creativity in the kitchen.
The dinner and discussion will take place at the nexus of Wicker Park (Damen, Milwaukee, and North) at Café Robey, taking its inspiration from the best of the Midwest, using local ingredients to create seasonally-inspired, elevated comfort food. (Pass the cornbread, please!)
Menus will be seasonal and incorporate ingredients from local, sustainable farms and will be posted one week in advance of each dinner. We have asked our chefs to ensure the meal offers vegetarian and nut-free options. Space is limited.
