Preserve this season’s favorite crops, culture, biodiversity and more by saving seeds! Attendees will learn the value of saving seeds and the simplicity of saving your own seeds, In addition, Slow Food Chicago will talk about the Ark of Taste, a living catalog of delicious and distinctive foods facing extinction, including crops from the Midwest.

Stay until the end of the workshop to network and exchange seeds with Slow Food Chicago starting at 11:00am. Seed Swap attendees are encouraged to bring their own seeds from home. Seeds from the Midwest Ark of Taste and Green City Market farmers will be available at the swap.
