Celebrate National Farmer's Market Week at Green City Market! We will have special programming running throughout the day.
Our kids program, Club Sprouts, will be running from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at GCM Lincoln Park, but to celebrate National Farmers Week, we have some special programming planned for all the kiddos.
At 9:30, join us for a storytime where we will be reading Lulu and the Hunger Monster. Following the storytime, we will be hosting a scavenger hunt! There will also be a local food tasting and all kids that visit Club Sprouts will earn a $1 ticket to spend anywhere at the market that day.
This program will be led by GCM Programs Coordinator and former kindergarten teacher, Kristina Navarro!
At 10:30 a.m. we will be having a Food Access Culinary Demo hosted by Annie Scott & Amanda Kritt of Swedish Hospital. They will be displaying how to use $75 worth of groceries that folks can get through GCM For All SNAP matching program.
From 10:00 - 12:00 Swedish Hospital will be hosting a Vaccine pop-up clinic. Sign up for a time here.
