Bio
Charlotte joined Green City Market as a Seasonal Programs Assistant in May 2026. She is passionate about building resilience through regional, people-focused food systems. Charlotte earned her Bachelor’s in Sustainability from Chatham University in 2023. Prior to returning to her hometown of Chicago, she was based in Pittsburgh, PA where she worked to bolster sustainable agriculture infrastructure in Central Appalachia.
Charlotte’s early experiences on small, diverse farms informed her dedication to supporting hard working farmers, strengthening rural-urban networks, and building community. She is proud to continue contributing to this crucial work in the Chicago area. When she’s not making pickles or enjoying a meal at a local restaurant, Charlotte can usually be found wherever there are cows.
