The following farmers and food vendors are currently looking for help at markets or help on the farm. Please contact them directly for more information.

Finn's Ranch - Looking for experienced cooks to join the Finn's market team this summer. Cooks will highlight Finn's meat and egg productions as well as seasonal items from other market vendors. Finn's is also looking for a market sales associate to work their booth every Saturday May through October from 6:30 am - 1:30 pm. Contact to apply. 

Moss Funnel Farm (Joe's Blues) - Run/help run weekly markets for Joes Blues, blueberries. Having a car a plus. $14 an hour, 5-10 hours a week. Contact to apply

Mint Creek Farm

Market Staff- Looking for staff members with consistent availability May-October. Learn about our farming practices enough to be able to explain them to customers. Be able to recommend how to prepare a minimum of 1-2 meat cuts from each farm animal. Keep abreast with our CSA Share program options and events happening at the farm. Set up market booth with tent, table, meat and egg coolers and signage before market start time. Display eggs, honey, bone-broth, and brochures. Make sure chalkboard sign reflects your inventory for that day. Ring up all sales using tablet provided in Square app. Keep market cash sales and tablet on your person. Take orders for the following week(s) as needed and submit via email. Take end of the day meat inventory. $12 an hour, 8-10 hours each Saturday.

Market Chef- Prepare burgers, breakfasts sandwiches, and omelets at market. Purchase any day of necessities (we’ll provide Mint Creek checks to use) first thing at market like the season produce, cheese, etc for sandwich toppings or any daily specials as desired. Make sure station is ready for making sandwiches, omelets, etc. to order by opening of market (usually this just means unpacking stuff, getting grill going, cutting some cheese, getting seasonal veggie topping made, and making aoili for sandwiches. Make prepared food booth display (usually a good-looking sandwich or two). Help clean-up and load up market setup into van. Make sure any expenses are recorded as necessary. Make sure any ordering/supplies requests/etc. for next day are complete. Wash dishes back in kitchen and restock any supplies as necessary. $12 plus 5% commission of prepared food sales, Saturday and Sunday availability ~20 Hours a week.

Nichols Farm and Orchard - sales position at farmers market. $13 an hour, up to 4 days a week with 5am - 2pm availability. Email to apply. 

River Valley Ranch - Join the River Valley Ranch farmers market team and you'll have a chance to provide your community with 100% chemical-free mushrooms and seasonal produce, artisanal foods, and prepared farm-to-table meals. We are looking for hard workers who are early risers (most days start at 6 AM or earlier) and enjoy working weekends and outside, rain or shine. We provide all equipment you need. Tomato Mountain Farm

Market Staff: Join their farmers market team this spring/summer 2019 to help build relationships with the farmers market crowd to sell and talk about our organic produce/CSA Programming. Hours will be from 7 AM--4 PM usually for loading/selling/unloading. Delivery vans are supplied and a valid license is required. This position is paid hourly starting at $15/hr. Email Monica at to apply. 

Field/Farm worker: Responsibilities range from working with vegetables/field work (harvesting, washing, planting, weeding, and packing vegetables), to assistance with maintenance and upkeep. We've got a great maintenance/field manager who needs a right hand person to help keep things in order. Looking for a healthy person, with a good attitude and solid/steady work ethic. Housing is available, and daytime meals are often cooked for the crew, so they can eat great food, relax, reflect on the morning's work, and think ahead to the rest of the day without also having to cook.

Based in Lincoln Park, Verzênay Patisserie has been a presence at the GCM since 2014, and we are looking for someone who is excited to spread the love of fine baked goods, pastries, and our savory offerings!  15 hours a week, $14 an hour.
