A (Mostly) Veggie Affair Returns for Its Sixth Year!

Tickets on Sale Now: A (Mostly) Veggie Affair Returns for Its Sixth Year!

Early Bird tickets are now on sale for A (Mostly) Veggie Affair, a veggie-friendly, fall fundraiser, featuring veggie-inspired dishes from more than 20 Chicago chefs, mixologists and breweries, all showcasing ingredients from Green City Market vendors. The event, co-presented by Green City Market and Modern Farmer, will take place on November 10 at Lakeshore Beverage.

A (Mostly) Veggie Affair’s proceeds will go toward the market’s Link Card Matching Program, allowing shoppers across the city to access healthy and sustainably-raised foods sold at Green City Market. Attendees can look forward to a walk-around, stationed tasting, showcasing local chefs’ all-vegetable savory and sweet dishes (along with some meat-centric options, too), made with Green City Market vendor produce. These delectable dishes will be served up from renowned Chicago eateries, including The Bristol, Blue Door Farm Stand, XOCO, Bang Bang Pie, Café Selmarie and many more!

Guests won’t go thirsty, with beverage tastings from a half dozen local craft breweries from Lakeshore Beverage, wine from Boisset Collection and cocktails with New Holland Spirits from celebrated Chicago mixologists.

Early Bird prices for tickets include $55 for General Admission (from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) and $70 for VIP access (entry at 5:30 p.m.) and are available through October 10. Early Bird tickets will save guests $5 off of their ticket prices. Tickets are available online on EventBrite and can also be purchased in- person at the Green City Market info booth on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in Lincoln Park and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Mary Bartelme Park.

Lakeshore Beverage is located at 400 N. Elizabeth Street in Chicago.
