Rich Horbaczewski and Jackie Gennett are Chicago natives who moved from the city to greener pastures and became farmers ten years ago. The couple operates a certified organic farm, known as Grass Is Greener Gardens as well as Bushel & Peck's Local Market and Preservation Kitchen. At the farm in Monroe, Wisconsin they raise organic vegetables as well as fodder for the farm’s sheep, goats, chickens, and turkeys on 130 seasonally rotated acres. At the restaurant, store and food processing kitchen in Beloit, Wisconsin, they bring food and community together. The Bushel & Peck's Preservation Kitchen produces nostalgic jars of pickles, jams, sauces, relishes and syrups. Rich and Jackie live their tagline by bringing food they love to people they know.
