Come to the Table: Act
Tuesday, April 21, 2020, 5:30pm–8:30pm
Join Green City Market and Angelic Organics Learning Center for our annual Come to the Table Dinner series for a community dinner and discussion centering on action. We’ll be talking about Earth Day’s 50th anniversary campaign, Foodprints for the Future. Our panelists will be thinking through how small actions can add up to major impact, and you’ll leave with actionable ideas that work for your life so you can help “fight climate change with diet change.”
The farmers market’s most frequent flyer, Travelle at the Langham produces seasonal American dishes sourced right from the Midwest’s small family farms and is the host for this dinner and discussion. Driven by a farm-to-table style menu and his relationships with local farmers, Chef Jeff Vucko is one of Chicago’s most loyal local chefs.
Each $65 ticket includes a seated dinner, wine pairings curated by Travelle at the Langham, and a lively discussion! Can't make it to Travelle at the Langham in April? We'll be at Gadabout on February 25 and Café Robey on March 31.
Menus will be seasonal and incorporate ingredients from local, sustainable farms and will be posted one week in advance of each dinner. We have asked our chefs to ensure the meal offers vegetarian and nut-free options. Space is limited.
