Green City Market to Cancel Indoor Market on Saturday, March 28

Due to Governor Pritzker's shelter in place order, Green City Market's Indoor Market at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum on Saturday, March 28 will be cancelled.

From all of us at Green City Market, we hope all of our community members remain safe and physically and mentally well. The Green City Market team is hard at work developing solutions to keep our shoppers and our farmers connected to ensure you have access to the food you need while you're hunkered indoors.

While we can't see you all in person at the market this weekend, GCM is working closely with our farmers to bring the farmers market to you — you can now find nearly 30 home delivery and convenient pick-up options for farm-fresh food in the Chicagoland area thanks to our hard-working, local, sustainable Midwestern farmers.

But that's! Not! All! Green City Market is launching an app (coming soon!) to create a seamless shopping experience for you by centralizing our vendors' products. Shoppers will be able to order from multiple vendors at once for flat delivery fee.Follow Green City Market on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter or keep an eye out for another email from us to be the first to know when the app is officially launched.

For now, you can place orders directly with our farmers for delivery or pick-up in Chicago this weekend! Many of our vendors are making trips to the city this Saturday and Sunday, and some even have next- or same-day delivery (shoutout to speed demon, Jacobson Family Farms, who made some same-day deliveries last weekend from their farm in Antioch, Illinois straight to shoppers' doorsteps.)
