8am-12pm: Club Sprouts - Kids and families are invited to our workshop to decorate a 2 inch terra cotta planter and plant seeds for microgreens. In addition, participants will also learn about the nutritional benefits of microgreens. This is a drop-in activity that is perfect for ages 3+ and will take 10-15 minutes to complete. 9:30am: Story Time at the Market- Join us for a free reading of food, cooking, and farming themed children's books in the Nature's Lunch Box. This market's reading features author and illustrator, Flora Caputo, who will be reading her book, Summer's Flight, Pollen's Delight, as well as Soup Day by Melissa Iwai and The Bad Seed by Jory John and Pete Oswald. Stop by Club Sprouts after the reading from 10am-12pm to buy a signed copy of her book. 

10:30am: Cooking Demo by GCM Program Coordinator, Taylor Choy
