Brian Elias

Market Operations Manager, Green City Market

Joining our team in December 2017, Brian Elias brings over 20 years of management experience to Green City Market. You may notice his friendly face from his previous position at our vendor, Tomato Mountain Farm, where he brought his expertise in customer service to farmers markets across Chicago and maintained a successful CSA. Prior to Tomato Mountain Farm, he has 15 years of experience working in the food world, particularly grocery operations at Trader Joe's, where he specialized in client relations and account management. As a local Chicago native, Brian is passionate about bridging the gap between local, Midwestern farmers and the Chicagoland community. In his free time, he loves gardening and plants, especially weird orchids and succulents.

Favorite Green City Market treat: Ghost pepperoni from Underground Meats and Saturn peaches from Mick Klug Farms
