Originally from New York, she came to Chicago to develop her education and experience in food systems and sustainable agriculture. She is a recent graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Urban Studies. She has worked on marketing for the Loyola Farmers Market and Garden Collage. Through environmental sustainability internships, she worked on educational cooking programs, waste reduction programs and water efficiency campaigns. She is integrated into the city through her social research with the Center for Urban Research and Learning and the Chicago Foundation for Women. Coming from a passionate food family, she hopes to continue her work in food cultures and food accessibility in urban areas.
In her free time, she loves to cook soul-warming meals, attend live music events, and explore the city.
