Nick Marrapode

Lincoln Park Market Manager, Green City Market

Nick joins Green City Market after three years coordinating special events and sponsorships for Goose Island Beer Company where he was a part of events ranging from the nationwide Migration Week program to local festivals such as 312 Block Party and Battle of the Breweries. His background also includes food and beverage service, outdoor education, and non-profit work. He holds degrees in History and International Studies from Colorado State University.

Nick is passionate about sustainability and social equity and will do his best to ensure that local producers and farmers are able to get as much as possible from their partnership with GCM, while the community has a safe and friendly atmosphere in which to support their favorite local businesses.

Favorite Green City Market treat: Bennison's pesto bread and fresh chevre from J2K Capraio (honorable mention to Seedling Farm's Italian plums).
