Heather was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, then attended University of Miami, in Florida. After college, she worked in financial services until 2008, and then in marketing research, studying online insights for consumer goods. She moved to Chicago to pursue an MBA at the Booth School of Business, and quickly fell in love with the midwest, her father's homeland. She found the farmland in the surrounding areas particularly captivating, and has tried to visit whenever possible. In her free time, she is trying her best to visit every delicious restaurant in the city.
