In Northwestern IL, born and raised. In the kitchen is where she spent most of her days. Chopping up, baking, creating new flavs. All of this came to together when she moved up Madison, WI's way. A couple of friends were up to do good. Started volunteering for an org called Slow Food. Got involved in a teen cooking event one night and she knew it right then. She said to herself "You're moving to Chicago and this sustainability food system business can’t end” Now that she’s finally here, she’s ready to sit and support it among a board of great others.

What's the most delicious thing you've ever purchased from GCM?
Since I'm a sucker for squash, the kuri squash always wins me over. Roasted and glazed with a sweet and spicy sauce or pureed along with ginger and carrots as soup to warm your soul - It's a staple that I never fear will fail in fall festivities.
What's your favorite Junior Board event?
A (Mostly) Veggie Affair!
